R.e.m. consists of; Micheal Stipe (vocals),Peter Buck (guitar),Mike Mills (bass)Bill Berry (drums) retired from the band before the making of the 11th album to spend more time w/ his family.Over the many years R.e.m has been in exsistence they have influenced alot of great musicains such as, Kurt Cobain, and Hootie and The blowfish.They've had 12 cds out, and are planning on a new one.Micheal grew up with his family moving alot (his father was in the army) He ment Peter Buck who was working at a record store and befriended Micheal they later made a band with Mike & Bill who had jammed together since high school.
